• The prohibition of child abuse, neglect, exploitation, and trafficking through the formulation of special measures to protect children from harmful cultural practices and child labor. 
• Establishing of child protection services and reporting mechanisms. 
• Special procedures for children in conflict with the law, emphasizing rehabilitative and restorative justice.
